About Haveli of Nau Nihal Singh
The Haveli of Nau Nihal Singh, built around 1830, is widely regarded as the finest and best-preserved haveli of the Sikh period in Lahore. Named for the grandson of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, its facade and interiors are covered in intricate frescoes and woodwork.
It now houses a girls’ school, which has helped preserve it; parts may be viewable with permission. It’s a rare window into the domestic grandeur of Sikh-era Lahore.
