Overview
Seven days let the pilgrimage breathe and reach further north. Building on the central-Punjab core, Lahore, Nankana Sahib and Kartarpur, this itinerary adds the sacred Gurdwara Panja Sahib at Hasan Abdal and the ancient Gandhara Buddhist sites of nearby Taxila, with an overnight in the Islamabad area to make the northern leg comfortable.

What to bring
- Comfortable walking shoes for uneven old-city ground
- Sun protection in summer (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) or warm layers in winter
- A refillable water bottle
- Modest clothing for mosques and shrines
- Some cash for snacks, tips and small purchases
- Your camera or phone, and any personal medication
- A head covering for gurdwaras (scarves are also provided)
Dress & etiquette
Modest dress (shoulders and knees covered) is best; women need a headscarf inside mosque and gurdwara prayer halls (our guides carry spares) and shoes come off at religious sites. Please ask before photographing people. See what to wear and mosque etiquette.
Accessibility
