Overview
This is Pakistan’s classic heritage pairing, and for good reason. Spend your first days in Lahore — Mughal monuments, the Walled City, food and Wagah — then travel the excellent motorway (~4.5 hours) to Islamabad, the country’s serene modern capital, with the Faisal Mosque, Margalla Hills and the extraordinary Gandhara Buddhist sites of nearby Taxila.
Doing it as a multi-day trip (rather than punishing day trips) means you actually enjoy both cities. We arrange private transport throughout, hotels to your budget, and guiding at every stop. Priced on request around length, hotels and group size.

Dress & etiquette
Modest dress (shoulders and knees covered) is best; women need a headscarf inside mosque and gurdwara prayer halls (our guides carry spares) and shoes come off at religious sites. Please ask before photographing people. See what to wear and mosque etiquette.
