Cancellation by you
Because private tours reserve guides, vehicles and often hotels and permits in advance, cancellation terms depend on notice given and any non-refundable third-party costs already incurred. Typical guidance: cancellations with generous notice receive a full or near-full refund of amounts paid, less any unrecoverable third-party costs; short-notice cancellations may be partly or wholly non-refundable. Deposits
Where a deposit is taken to secure dates or third-party bookings, the refundable portion depends on what has already been committed on your behalf. We tell you this before you pay.
Cancellation by us
If we must cancel for safety or reasons beyond our control, we will offer a suitable alternative date or itinerary, or a refund of amounts paid to us for services not yet delivered.
Changes & no-shows
Date changes are accommodated where possible, subject to availability and any third-party costs. No-shows without notice are generally non-refundable.
Refunds
Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method where possible. Processing times vary by provider.
