Overview
Lahore’s open-top sightseeing bus is a fun, affordable way to get an overview of the city — cruising past major landmarks from the top deck with the breeze and the skyline. It’s a favourite with families and first-time visitors who want an easy orientation before diving deeper on foot.
The public double-decker service (operated by Punjab’s tourism authority, TDCP) runs a set route past headline sights. We can arrange your tickets and timing, add a licensed guide to narrate the ride, or charter a private bus for larger groups and events.
Itinerary
- Board the top deckMeet at the central pickup point (or we collect you from your hotel) and settle in up top for the best views.
- Landmark cruiseRoll past major landmarks — the Mughal-era old city fringe, colonial-era Mall Road architecture, gardens and monuments — with photo moments along the way.
- Optional stopsOn guided or private charters we can pause at key sights for a closer look and photos.
- FinishReturn to the start point, or continue into an evening food or Walled City add-on.
Route & logistics
Start & finish: Central pickup point or hotel. Transport: Private air-conditioned vehicle.
Route: Board the top deck → Landmark cruise → Optional stops → Finish.
A live Google Map with every stop is shared with your confirmation. Driving times are honest estimates and vary with traffic; where a destination is far, we tell you plainly and suggest an overnight if it’s more comfortable.

Before you go
What to bring
- Comfortable walking shoes for uneven old-city ground
- Sun protection in summer (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) or warm layers in winter
- A refillable water bottle
- Modest clothing for mosques and shrines
- Some cash for snacks, tips and small purchases
- Your camera or phone, and any personal medication
Dress & etiquette
Modest dress (shoulders and knees covered) is best; women need a headscarf inside mosque and gurdwara prayer halls (our guides carry spares) and shoes come off at religious sites. Please ask before photographing people. See what to wear and mosque etiquette.
