Overview
Lahore was the capital of Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s Sikh Empire, and the city carries that history beside its Mughal grandeur. This day centres on Gurdwara Dera Sahib — the martyrdom site of Guru Arjan Dev Ji — and the adjacent white-marble Samadhi of Ranjit Singh, both beside Lahore Fort and Badshahi Mosque.
Your Punjabi-speaking guide adds the Sikh-era chambers of the Fort, the relevant galleries of the Lahore Museum, and the wider story of Sikh Lahore, making this an ideal first day for pilgrims or a rich standalone day for history lovers.
