Overview

Gurdwara Dera Sahib marks the site where Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the fifth Sikh Guru and compiler of the Adi Granth, was martyred in 1606. Its gleaming dome rises beside Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque and the Samadhi of Ranjit Singh, making this corner of old Lahore one of the most significant in Sikh history.

With a Punjabi-speaking guide to explain the history and etiquette, you can experience darshan and langar respectfully. The gurdwara welcomes pilgrims and interested visitors alike.
