About Asif Khan’s Tomb
The Tomb of Asif Khan, brother of Noor Jahan, father-in-law of Shah Jahan and a leading Mughal noble, stands beside Jahangir’s at Shahdara. Its once brilliantly tiled and marble-clad dome, though stripped over time, retains a powerful presence, and conservation continues.
Together with the neighbouring tombs it makes Shahdara a rewarding stop for Mughal history enthusiasts.
