Lahore heritage market and evening culture during a three-day city tour

Overview

Three days lets Lahore breathe. The first two mirror our 2-day heritage tour, the Mughal icons, Wagah, gardens, tombs, museums and a Gawalmandi food evening. Day three is yours to shape: a Nankana Sahib or Kartarpur day trip, a colonial-Lahore-and-shopping day, a photography-led wander, or a slower return to whatever caught your eye.

This is the itinerary we most often recommend to travelers who want to leave Lahore feeling they actually understood it, not just ticked it off.

  2. Day 2 · Gardens, tombs & foodShalimar Gardens, Jahangir’s Tomb, Lahore Museum, Anarkali, Gawalmandi food evening.
  3. Day 3 · Your choiceNankana Sahib OR Kartarpur day trip, OR colonial Lahore (Mall Road, GPO, High Court, NCA, Cathedral) & shopping, OR a photography day, decided with your guide.

Before you go

What to bring

  • Comfortable walking shoes for uneven old-city ground
  • Sun protection in summer (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) or warm layers in winter
  • A refillable water bottle
  • Modest clothing for mosques and shrines
  • Some cash for snacks, tips and small purchases
  • Your camera or phone, and any personal medication

Dress & etiquette

Modest dress (shoulders and knees covered) is best; women need a headscarf inside mosque and gurdwara prayer halls (our guides carry spares) and shoes come off at religious sites. Please ask before photographing people. See what to wear and mosque etiquette.

What’s the best day-three option?
For most first-timers, the colonial-Lahore day balances the Mughal focus of days one and two. Sikh visitors usually choose Nankana Sahib or Kartarpur.
Can you extend to 4 or 5 days?
Yes, see our 4-day and 5-day tours, or ask for a custom multi-city extension.
