About Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors)
The Sheesh Mahal, or Palace of Mirrors, is the most celebrated chamber in Lahore Fort. Built for Shah Jahan around 1631, its walls and ceilings glitter with countless tiny convex mirrors and pietra dura inlay, designed to sparkle by candlelight.
Part of the Fort’s Shah Burj quarter, it was the setting for private royal ceremony and remains the visual highlight of any Fort visit.

- Mirror mosaic — Aina-kari mirror-work covering walls and ceiling.
