Lahore’s public transport includes the Metrobus (a dedicated bus rapid-transit line), the Orange Line metro train, and local buses. It’s very cheap and useful for longer cross-city hops, though most tourists find ride-hailing or a private car easier for sightseeing.

Metrobus runs a fast north–south corridor; the Orange Line is a modern elevated metro across the city; local buses and vans fill the gaps. Fares are minimal, paid by token or transit card.
Is it right for you?
Great value and an experience in itself, but stops may not sit next to monuments, and routes take some learning. For a smooth sightseeing day, a private guided vehicle saves time and hassle.
