About General Post Office (GPO)
Lahore’s General Post Office, built to mark Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee in 1887, is a handsome red-brick colonial building crowned by a clock tower on the Mall. Still a working post office, it’s a fixture of the city’s colonial streetscape.
A classic stop on a colonial-Lahore walk among the museum, High Court and old commercial architecture.
