Overview
One of Punjab’s most romantic and least-crowded Mughal sites, Hiran Minar near Sheikhupura was built by Emperor Jahangir in memory of his prized pet antelope, Mansraj. A tall minaret overlooks a large square water tank with a causeway leading to an elegant central pavilion — utterly serene, and wonderful for photography.
At about an hour from Lahore, it’s one of the easiest and gentlest day trips we offer, ideal for a relaxed morning away from the city crowds.

Dress & etiquette
