Most nationalities can now apply for a Pakistan tourist visa online through the official e-visa portal, and the process has become dramatically easier in recent years. This guide explains the essentials β but visa rules change, so always confirm the current requirements for your nationality on the official government portal before you travel.
The e-visa system
Pakistan’s online visa system lets travellers from a large list of countries apply digitally. You’ll typically need a passport valid for at least six months, a passport photo, and supporting documents such as a hotel booking or a letter of invitation (LOI) from a licensed tour operator.
How we help booked guests
When you book a tour with us, we provide the supporting documentation commonly requested β including a letter of invitation and hotel/itinerary confirmation β and we walk you through the application step by step on WhatsApp. We can’t issue the visa (only the government does that), but we make the process far less daunting.
Visa on arrival
Some nationalities and some categories (such as certain tour-group arrangements) may qualify for visa-on-arrival facilities. Eligibility and conditions vary and change; ask us and check official sources for your specific case.
Processing time
E-visas are often processed within days to a few weeks depending on nationality. Apply well ahead of travel, and don’t book non-refundable flights until your visa is confirmed.
This is general guidance, not immigration advice. The definitive source is always Pakistan’s official visa portal and your nearest mission.
