About Sunehri Mosque (Golden Mosque)
The Sunehri Mosque, or Golden Mosque, was built in 1753 in the heart of the Walled City’s Kashmiri Bazaar. Its three gilded domes and slender minarets rise unexpectedly above the bustling market below.
A later-Mughal-era gem, it’s a lovely surprise on a Walled City walk and still very much an active neighborhood mosque.
