About Bagh-e-Jinnah (Lawrence Gardens)
Bagh-e-Jinnah, formerly Lawrence Gardens, is a beloved colonial-era park laid out by the British in the 1860s. Its 141 acres hold a botanical garden, the historic Quaid-e-Azam Library in a Victorian building, an open-air theatre and shaded lawns.
A green lung near the city centre, it’s where Lahore comes to walk, read and picnic — a gentle, everyday counterpoint to the monuments.
